The Guasón rhythm was created in the 60s by the percussionists of the group Los Bocucos de Ibrahim Ferrer.
 
The melody of the güiro and the maracas played with one hand as if them were a shekere are analyzed. It is performed as in the time of Los Bocucos with two congas.
